Everything was great! We were able to take a wonderful trip to the surrounding areas and visit beautiful beaches that the friendly scooter owner recommended to us! We can absolutely recommend this place!

Rented a scooter from Erik while staying in Punta Mita and it was SO MUCH fun. He was super flexible with some last minute changes on my part which was great, and his communication is top notch! And most importantly, the scooter was in great shape and carted me and my husband around just fine. I will say, our combined weight is 330lbs and if it was much more than that we’d probably consider each getting our own scooter (especially since we’re newer to driving them) but we were still comfy enough on several 20 minute plus rides. 10/10.

I met Eric (the owner) a few years ago when he was contemplating starting this business. He has it all set up now and I love it! Having a scooter in Mita is SO fun. Erik is helpful with local recommendations, assistance with scooter issues and just all around being a great person. I would recommend using his business 1000%. 780/10

Would definitely recommend Moto Serf Scooters! We rented a scooter one day while in Mita and took it to San Poncho. Such a fun adventure! Eric was amazing, he recommended places to go, told us areas to look out for, and was flexible with our pick up time as my bf wasn't feeling too great in the morning. Eric was also available and punctual when we had questions about the scooter and needed his help 👌🏼 He's just a rad guy all around! If you're wanting to adventure out while in Punta Mita - go see Eric at Moto Serf Scooters! 😄👍🏼

Erik is great to work with — great response and service. Scooters were fantastic and faster than most — 150cc. We will rent from Erik and Moto Serf again.

Good to know

Are the scooters legal to ride outside Punta de Mita?

Yes. Every scooter is registered and carries its own license plates, so you can ride wherever you want — Sayulita, San Pancho, Higuera Blanca — with no problems with the police.

What currency do you accept?

We accept Mexican pesos (MXN) and US dollars (USD) in cash. No problem either way — pay with whatever is easiest for you.

Do I need a motorcycle license?

No motorcycle license is needed. A regular car driver's license — or any valid official ID — is enough to rent. The scooters are automatic and we give you a full walkthrough before you leave.

Where do I pick up the scooter?

We operate in Punta de Mita. The exact pick-up and drop-off address is shared with you directly once your booking is confirmed.

What if the police stop me, fine me or impound the scooter?

Any fine, ticket, towing, impound or release fee — including those caused by breaking the law or riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs — is entirely and absolutely the responsibility of the rider and the client, who agrees to pay them in full.

Can I carry my surfboard?

Yes. We install optional side racks that fit boards up to 8'0" at no extra stress — mention your board size when you book.

Is gasoline included?

You get the scooter with a full tank. Bring it back however you like — no fuel drama.

¡Vámonos! Your scooter is waiting

Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and where you're staying — we'll have your ride ready with a full tank. We accept MXN and USD cash, whichever is easiest for you.
